Could not access microphone

If you are seeing this message, it can have two reasons:

If you have not been asked to allow access to your microphone, then probably your browser is not supported.
In that case try opening the app in a different browser.
If you have been asked to allow access to your microphone and have denied it, you can open the app in a new tab and on request click 'allow'.

About Loopinsky

The Loopinsky app is a practicing tool for musicians, which makes creating playbacks very easy and fast.

How it works

Choose your tempo and meter and decide how long your loop will be and how many bars you need to prepare for recording. Then hit the record button, wait for the small light to indicate that recording has started and play.
Once the recording has started there is no need to press any buttons. The recording will stop after the specified number of bars and will directly start the playback.
The loop will have the exact length you specified, so take care to follow the metronome precisely.

Once you recorded a loop, you can download the audio file and upload it the next time you need it. I suggest creating a folder with all the loops you record. That way you can build your personal library of playalongs and share it with fellow musicians and students.

Motivation

The inspiration to create this app came from my profession as a guitar teacher. Since improvisation plays an important role in my lessons, I wanted my students to have the ability, to record their own accompaniment, without having to buy any additional equipment or to use a full DAW only for recording a loop.
